FC Den Bosch is a Dutch professional football club from ‘s-Hertogenbosch, North Brabant. The club was founded on February 22, 1965, as FC Den Bosch/BVV. It plays its home games at De Vliert, with a capacity of 8,500 seats. The club’s colours are blue and white.Den Bosch started out playing in the lower leagues of Dutch football, but soon worked its way up to the Eerste Divisie. In the 1974-75 season, the club won promotion to the Eredivisie, the top tier of Dutch football. However, Den Bosch only managed to stay in the Eredivisie for one season and was relegated back to the Eerste Divisie. The following season, the club won promotion back to the Eredivisie, but once again was relegated after just one season.In the early years of its existence, Den Bosch was known for producing talented young players who would go on to have successful careers at other clubs.
